The professional-grade knife set offered by our school includes a Deba knife (16.5 cm / white steel / single-edged), a Yanagiba knife (27 cm / white steel / single-edged), and a knife case.

If you prefer to prepare your own, please purchase knives of equivalent quality from a specialty knife shop. Please note that any knives purchased through our school will be maintained responsibly throughout your course.

Course Terms and Conditions
  • Your enrollment will be confirmed after we receive your application form and the admission fee of 66,000 yen (tax included). Full enrollment is confirmed after payment of the course fee.
  • If you wish to cancel after applying, please inform us in writing or by email at least 5 days before the course start date.
  • If canceled 5 days before the course, we will refund the full amount except the admission fee.
  • If you cancel after the course starts, no refund will be given for any reason.
  • Please take care of your personal belongings. The school is not responsible for any loss or theft.
  • The school is not responsible for any accidents or injuries during class or on your way to school.
  • If you disturb the class or others, you may be asked to leave or withdraw from the course.
  • Recording or taking photos during the class is not allowed, unless the instructor gives permission.
  • All course content (lessons, materials, and techniques) belongs to Tokyo Sushi Academy. You may not share, give, or sell them to others.
  • We use shellfish, eggs, and other allergens in class. If you have allergies, please take full responsibility.
  • All students must promise to do their best in class and training.
Enrollment Terms and Conditions
  • Enrollment
    Enrollment is confirmed only after both of the following requirements have been completed:
    • Submission of the completed Application Form.
    • Full payment of the tuition fee of ¥135,000 (tax included).
  • Cancellation Before the Course Begins
    If you wish to cancel your enrollment after submitting your application, please notify Tokyo Sushi School by email no later than five (5) days before the course start date.
    For cancellations made at least five (5) days before the course begins, the tuition fee will be refunded less a 10% administrative fee.
  • Withdrawal After the Course Has Started
    Once the course has begun, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including voluntary withdrawal or failure to attend classes.
  • Personal Belongings
    Students are responsible for their own personal belongings and valuables at all times.
    Tokyo Sushi School accepts no responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage.
  • Accidents and Injuries
    Tokyo Sushi School shall not be liable for any accidents, injuries, illnesses, or other incidents that occur:
    • during class;
    • while traveling to or from the school.
    Participation in all practical training is at the student's own risk.
  • Student Conduct
    Students are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors and fellow students.
    Any student whose behavior disrupts the class or causes inconvenience to others may be asked to leave the classroom or, in serious cases, may be dismissed from the course without a refund.
  • Recording and Photography
    Audio recording, video recording, and photography during lessons are prohibited.
    Photography may be permitted only with prior approval from the instructor.
  • Intellectual Property
    All course materials, lesson content, techniques, training methods, and educational programs provided by Tokyo Sushi School remain the exclusive intellectual property of Tokyo Sushi School.
    Students may not copy, reproduce, distribute, lend, transfer, resell, publish, or use any course materials or training content for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Tokyo Sushi School.
  • Food Allergies
    The school uses ingredients including shellfish, eggs, and other common allergens.
    Students with food allergies participate at their own risk and responsibility.
    Tokyo Sushi School accepts no liability for allergic reactions or related medical issues.
  • Commitment to Training
    Students are expected to actively participate in all lectures and practical training sessions and make every effort to complete the course.
  • Changes to the Terms and Conditions
    Tokyo Sushi School reserves the right to revise these Terms and Conditions whenever necessary without prior notice.
